was founded in 1987 by Pat Walsh and Pat Farrell,
two long standing Strand Lighting men. With their
considerable experience in all aspects of theatre
and studio lighting, planning and design, Stage Lighting

long term association with Doughty Engineering for
stage hardware, Rosco for stage paint, filters Dance
Floors and special effects, and James Thomas Engineering
Limited for trussing and lanterns. Through our network
of European contacts we can supply Clay Packey moving
heads, Jem smoke machines, Le-Maitre special effects,
Socapex, Loadstar Motors, and Gelstream.
StageDrapes and Flying
Our Curtain Manufacturing Division, run by Deirdre
Walsh can supply custom made flame retardant curtains,
cycloramas, stage cloths, masking legs/wings and pelmets
to suit any venue.
Hire Department
Our Hire Department, managed by Noel
Murphy, can supply the full range of Strand theatrical
equipment including the latest in control systems,
e.g. Strand’s 100, 200, and the new Lightpallette
Range of memory control systems .We also supply ETC
and Selecon lantern ranges. In addition we stock a
comprehensive array of Stands, Lifts, Effects, Pyrotechnics,
Scrollers and all other sundry Hire Items at competitive
rates.
Design and Consultancy
A free-of-charge advisory service
is available for theatre, events and permanent installations
while full consultancy and design studies can be provided
on an agreed basis.
