SLC install at
Liberty Hall Theatre, Dublin
12th December 2002
The new Liberty Hall Theatre was completely refurbished – along
with the rest of this historically significant building.
It was re-opened as the Performing Arts Centre by Taoiseach
Bertie Ahern, TD.
The building is now the home of
SIPTU, the union created by the merger of the FWUI
and the ITGWU in 1990, representing a quarter of
a million workers from every conceivable occupation.
Installation of the Liberty Hall Theatre’s new
lighting and technical infrastructure was undertaken
by leading Dublin lighting suppliers Stage Lighting
Centre. They also supplied a full set of stage curtains,
complete dimming system and stage lanterns. Stage Lighting
Centre worked very closely with Brian Tracey, Liberty
Hall’s Head of Technical, throughout the installation
