Cantor 48 belongs to the second generation of the ADB lighting control systems and features a redesigned and much enhanced software re-design. Cantor 48 is a medium to high performance system intended for mediuml to large size stages, TV studios, touring, ... and as a back-up unit for other consoles.

• Selectable between 24 channels / 2 presets or 48 channels /
1 preset or 96 channels / 1 preset / 2 fader pages.
• Decimal keyboard.
• 12 play-back submasters for memories or effects; recording of
the total outputs (Sum) can be achieved in only one operation;
direct access for modification of level intensities; audio
modulation.
• 2 crossfade submasters (stage and preset), manual or
automatic, sequential, auto-sequence, with override of fade
time; access within both submasters for level modifications.
• Flash : mode selection (normal /solo), 48 individual flash keys
(1 per channel), 2 flash keys for preset masters A & B, 12
individual keys (1 per submaster and 1 grand master flash).
• Special Effects : chasers (9) and preprogrammed effects (9);
3 different profiles (cut, fade-in/fade-out, saw teeth); 3
movements (forwards, backwards and balancier); 2 modes
(positive and negative); 1 audio control; 1 potentiometer for
speed overrride (in real time).
• Memory : 20 banks stocking different cues for the 12
playback-submasters; up to 200 memories.
• Patch : no limit per channel but with a total amount of
maximum 512 dimmers.
• MID (IN - THRU - OUT) : programmable MIDI input and output
(note on/off, control change, program change).
• Display : 48 red LED’s for actual outputs to dimmers; 48 green
LED’s for display when working in the "blind" mode ; 2 LCD
displays (2 x 40 + 2 x 16 characters).
• External Lines : 8 programmable lines.
• Library storage : instant recording and retrieving on memory
card or via PC link on 3.5" disk.
• Menu : mode selection, green LED’s display next memory in
preset; selective data for storage; softkey programmation
(macros); external lines programmation; MIDI; peripherals
(monitor, printer); colour changer function.
