The Lui Groundrow range is the Lui Cyc luminaire inverted
to operate from the base of the cyc or back cloth.
The distribution is a visually even,
controlled wash with each luminaire's beam blending
seamlessly - the hallmark of Selecon cyc/groundrow luminaires.
Changing a Lui Cyc luminaire to groundrow operation is
simple - removing the colour cassette end hinge screw (M6
x 30 Philips head, Machine Screw) at each end of the luminaire,
reversing the cassette and reattaching.
This ensures the best performance, filter life and allows
adjustable screw feet (Order Code: 15HLGDSF ) to be fitted
to adjust the angle of the luminaire to the cloth.
Selecon Heat Removal System
Selecon's cyc and flood ranges have a well-deserved
reputation for delivering life up to double that of some
other cyc floods.
Further developments of the Selecon heat exhaust management
system has resulted in the Hui and Lui delivering industry-leading
filter life for their class and size.
The Selecon colour frame for the Hui, Lui and Aurora ranges
gently clamps the plastic filter while holding the frame
away from the luminaire body to reduce (+20°) the transference
of heat from the luminaire into the frame and plastic filter.
High performance 220-240V 800W studio lamps can be used
in very compact luminaires with acceptable filter life.
Q: WHY is there no 120V Lui Flood?
A: The 120V Hui Flood uses a lamp socket with the
capacity to utilise the 1000W lamp; so using either the FHM or
FCM 120V 1000W lamps effectively turn a 120V Hui into what would
be a 120V Lui.
