With the narrowest zoom range available,
the Pacific 5.5°-13° Very Narrow Zoomspot has
been designed for long throw applications such as large theatres,
concert halls and arenas.
 With
a choice of light sources such as MSR and 1200W 80V, the Pacific
VNZ combines high light output with energy efficiency in a surprisingly
compact luminaire.
The Pacific VNZ has a yoke adjustable along the length of
the lens tube to ensure a secure and rigid mounting point.
The shutter assembly rotates independently of the lens
tube and lamp house.
A heavy duty yoke is available which positions the luminaire
back on the lighting bridge.

Active Heat Management System
The Active Heat Management System of the Pacific
range exemplifies the innovative design of Selecon luminaires
- exploiting the latest technology to deliver new standards
in performance, superior operational features and lower cost
of ownership.
How does it work?
The AHMS removes more of the heat from the
light beam to deliver a cool beam of light on stage,
while managing the heat away from the operational controls
and critical components such as the lamp, wiring and
cabling.
What are the advantages?
• Cool operating controls (lens,
focus knobs, lamp peak/flat adjustment, shutters) even
after hours of continuous use.
• A gate so cool you can use plastic
images printed on transparency film with selected light
sources.
• Maintenance and downtime are slashed as the
lamp socket and cabling are out of the heat exhaust.
• Lower cost of ownership is guaranteed by Selecon's
industry-leading three year warranty.

In June 2006 the Canadian
Opera Company will take up residence in
their new permanent home in the heart of downtown
Toronto - the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing
Arts!
Selecon will deliver almost 200 stage lighting
fixtures for this very fine venue: 24 x Aurora
4-way Groundrow, 60 x Pacific 5.5- 13 Zoomspots,
54 x Pacific 12- 28 Zoomspots and 54 x Pacific
23-50 Zoomspots.
The design team includes Joshua Dachs from Fisher
Dachs Associates of New York and Julian Sleath,
Technical Director for the COC for the theatre

McLean Bible Church selects Selecon Pacific lighting
for new 2700 seat auditorium
The technical director and systems designer,
David Schatzman, was very impressed with the
flexibility of the Pacific 5.5-13 zoom and 90
Pacific. The flexibility to light tight areas
from well over 50 meters away or as close as
3 meters was unchallenged by any other fixture
on the market. The smooth and even light output
of the fixtures was very pleasing to the cameras
when following actors through areas and during
close-up IMAG. The smooth and cool to the touch
operator controls makes focusing quick and easy
for designers.
