The unique optical
system of the Pacific range, the world’s first
base down axial ellipsoidal ensures a powerful, energy
efficient, quality beam of light.
By utilising an optical system optimised for the theatre
with a light source suited to the specific demands
of lighting for architectural, retail display, museum and
gallery projects, the Pacific offers display lighting designers
a powerful tool.
The Pacific range is available with on-board electronic
or remote ballast using the single ended metal halide lamp
such as the Phillips Master Colour CDM range offering unmatched
efficiency with long life (average: 9,000-12,000hrs).
 Choice
of 70W & 150W, 3000K & 4000K colour temperature,
colour rendering 85ra.
The Pacific provides variable beam angles, beam shaping,
low glare, projection, colour and movement. Its powerful
output suits the Pacific CDM to long throw positions
in atria, lobbies etc. The four shaping shutters accurately
shape the beam while the rotatable lens tube ensures
that the exact shutter cut you require is achievable.
Two pattern projection slots allow for precise projection
of standard and custom designed patterns. The rotatable
gobo holder allows for quick and easy image alignment.
Photo like images can be created without concern due
to the low gate temperature. The cool gate temperature
is a result of the unique optical design of the Pacific
combined with CDM/ MHI lamp sources.
Features
- All the advantages of pattern projection and
precise beam control.
- Large range of beam angles with choice of the
5.5°-13° VNZ, 12°-28°, 14°-35°,
23°- 50° and 45°-75° Zoomspots;
and the 5° High Efficiency, 20°,
30°, 40°, 50° and 90° Fixed Beam
angles.
- Very low gate temperature means indefinite
pattern life and allows the use of low cost plastic
image projections.
- Full control of the light distribtuion in the
beam from a true peak to flat field.
- Adjustment is simple, fast, safe and cool!
- Two pattern mounting slots, 360° rotatable
lens barrel, large rear grab handle, accessory
safety anchor points are only some of the many
operational features of the Pacific range.
- SAFE to use, cool operating controls; automatic
disconnection of the mains supply before relamping.
CE marked.
Ballast
• Electronic ballast is able to be mounted
to the luminaire yoke or remote.
• Complies with EN60922 A1:1992 and is
TUV certified
• For remote ballast operation the power
supply must be within 5m / 16 1/2ft of the lamp.
Maximum ambient temperature of 50 / -25°C.
The ballast box does not necessarily have to be
mounted on a luminaire and in the case of a weather-proof
enclosure it is recommended that the box be installed
in the coolest part of the enclosure (remembering
that the CDM 150 does not generate a lot of heat).
Ideally the internal components of the ballast
box should remain below 85°C for a copper wound
ballast and 80°C for the electronic ballast.
