Colour Correction Filters
LEE offer a full range of Daylight, Tungsten, Fluorescent
and Arc conversion / correction filters, as well as
Neutral Density and Polarising filters for light source
control. Our mired shift calculator can help you choose
the right filter for your lighting application.
LEE also offers a range of Acrylic Panels that have
been specifically designed for use over windows for
correcting daylight. The panels exhibit the same degree
of colour accuracy as the LEE range of lighting filters.
They can be cut to size and installed permanently,
or used on location time and time again. The range
is made up colour temperature oranges and neutral densities,
including combinations that are unique to LEE Filters.

Diffusion Filters
A range of solutions for softening
and spreading a light beam and reducing the contrast
ratio between highlight areas. The range includes polyester
diffusion filters, frosts, flexi-frosts, grid cloths
and spun materials all in different densities for a
wide range of lighting effects. |
|
Reflection Media
These silver and gold metallic
surfaces, allow reflected light to be bounced to simply
fill in shadow areas requiring a little more illumination.
Alternative surface treatments allow for soft or hard
reflections, and the white backing can also be used
as a soft reflector. Perforated ‘scrim’ reflectors
can produce very soft reflections and eliminate unwanted
reflections from windows.

High Temperature Filters
LEE High Temperature (HT) lighting
filter utilises both a different base material and
surface coating to withstand hot light sources such
as focussed spots or large fresnels. HT products have
the same colour properties as standard gels but are
less likely to hole or burn through in extreme conditions.
All standard colours that are high heat absorbers are
available in the HT range, as well as a selection of
other popular colours within the colour effect range.

Glass Dichroic Filters
Specifically designed to meet the demands of the lighting
industry, LEE glass dichroic filters are produced by
the vacuum deposition of layers of thin metal films
onto a substrate of borofloat glass. The glass is available
in a thickness of either 3.3mm or 1.7mm.
This production process creates
spectaculary clear pure colours that will not fade
and should withstand temperatures up to 371°C.
There are 39 coloured filters within the range, all
of which are available either unframed, framed or as
custom shapes and sizes. Other products in the range
include glass diffusion filters, UV blockers for absorbing
Ultra-violet light and and a hot mirror for reflecting
heat back into the light source.
Unframed filters are for use in small light fittings
with integral holders or with the LEE range of filter
holders.
The framed filters come in a lightweight
aluminium frame, available both plain or in a colour
to suit all the popular lighting fixtures in the
architectural and theatrical industries. |

700 Series
A very special range, unique to
LEE Filters. The 700 Series colours have been created
by some of the top lighting designers working in stage,
screen, television, cinema and architectural lighting.
The designers are invited to work alongside our Research
and Development team to create their own unique colours.
Free of the constraints of existing products, the designers
have been able to create exactly the mood or effect
they require and produce solutions to specific problems.
As the leading manufacturer of professional lighting
filters, we can provide the technical skills needed
to turn these creative concepts into reality. |

used to enhance stage designs by projecting an image
or pattern. The standard LEE gobos, made from high-quality
stainless steel, come in hundreds of designs. Custom
made steel gobos can normally be produced within 4
working days. LEE also supply custom gobos in glass
from mono to full CMYK colouring. |
